Mold & District Choral Society

Based in the historic market town of Mold in Flintshire, North Wales, the Mold & District Choral Society is a mixed community choir of between 80 and 100 voices that sings the major works of the choral repertoire as well as many shorter works. The choir gives a Christmas concert, usually in Mold Parish Church, and a concert in the spring of each year in various venues. In the last few years we have given performances of Brahms’  Requiem and Orff’s Carmina Burana in St. Asaph Cathedral, and Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man in Buckley. We gave a complete performance of Handel's Messiah in Mold Parish Church in December 2010

and Mendelssohn's rarely heard oratorio 'St. Paul' in St. Asaph Cathedral in May 2011.

We are always on the lookout for new members - especially Tenors!

Experience of choral singing is useful but not essential. Come and try us out.
